Is Sexual Harassment for a Male employee just as important as for a Female employee?

Sexual harassment should be viewed as important a sexual harassment issue as it is to a female employee because a male employee just like a female employee can be offended by a sexual comment, sexual gesture, or any other perceived offensive behavior. Offensive behavior of any kind can interfere with work and their job performance. The male employee can lose satisfaction in his work and fail to advance in his job performance. As a result, the company is negatively affected. The company has a male employee who is not performing to his full potential because he feels sexually threatened and sexually violated in his sexually hostile work environment. The male employee could decide to file suit against the company and leave permanently. This will cost the company financially. Not only would the company have to settle at a high price with the sexually harassed victim, but also lose on their investment in training with the employee. Sexual harassment is just as costly to a company when it happens to a male employee as it is to a female employee.
